Given AAA (and Rockstar specifically) development cycles, I expect RDR3 around 2030 at the earliest. Maybe 2035ish. I'd be curious who they build the story around and what time period. Young Dutch? Or maybe they expand on Red Dead REVOLVER world lol. Make 2 Red Dead universes.
As for...
So, this is a little jesting, but I'm gonna list some games that are all but officially dead in my eyes. ...not like, personally dead to me due to a grudge or something, lol, but I have 0 faith that their IP owners will make another game. Other forms of media, sure. But not games.
Dark...
Ditto still! I'm a handful of missions into Chapter 3.
I've also been playing Open Roads (short game, coulda finished in 1 sitting), Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Helldivers 2, and Fallout 76.
(also, @V's patron are you on the CBR forums? lol)
I've been mostly playing RDR2 recently with a sprinkle of Tekken 8 and Helldivers 2. Also bought Saviorless last night, a puzzle platforming indie game I've been following for a few years.
RDR2 is...amazing. Super frustrating at times w/ the broken Wanted system and inconsistent/confusing...
I'm trying to limit myself to 1 new game a month this year. I'm really torn between The Thaumaturge and Alone in the Dark. I was pretty settled on Alone in the Dark, but this detailed trailer for Thaumaturge is really making the decision difficult lol.
(a couple small indies - Bore Blasters...
How'd you guys like Banishers?
As for me, I finished Phantom Liberty. What a ride. ...and I finished Suicide Squad. Also quite a ride.
Now I'm trying to focus on finishing Prince of Persia. The game definitely has a lot of features that just waste your time and are cheap af. But I get...
I had a good rotation formula made for M-Th, to sort of control my after-work analysis paralysis on what to play. But this past week, I've focused solely on CP77: Phantom Liberty since I'm on the final stretch of missions...but still doing side stuff because the game is just too fun and I want...
Man, a pretty solid State of Play, coming from a PC player. Death Stranding 2, Silent Hill 2, and Judas are all high on my anticipation list. I personally think SH2 looked really good.
Now that the calendar has turned to a new year, I’ve reset my priority backlog and am in a “play a buncha stuff until a new game comes out to focus on” mode. That new game is either gonna be Angel at Dusk or the new 2D Prince of Persia, both about a couple weeks away. But as of now, these are...
I...I played and finished Bloodborne. Something I thought I'd never do as a PC player. My cousin got a PS5 and let me borrow his PS4. What an amazing game.
So now I'm back to sort of a hodge podge of games, probably until mid-late January when Like a Dragon and Prince of Persia drop...
