I've a bit of a soft spot for Devil May Cry 2. While it's easily the weakest in the series, and on the whole a bit of a subpar game (hardly as horrible as some people make it out to be), it was where the series started for me. If it wasn't for it, I mightn't have fallen in love with the games...

I'm aware, I was just commenting on the fact is all; it did take me a bit by surprise to see such an old thread revived.

I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D earlier this week, the original being a game that I never really played, and while I'm still a ways from finishing it I've definitely sunk more than enough time into to say that I've fallen in love with it. Usually however I'd keep my distance...

Talk about digging up the past. The last reply to this was over a year ago, not to forget in a few days the thread itself will be two years old... Speaking of which; I'm not sure what was going through my head back then, but my idea for a Devil May Cry movie is just horrid. Some good ideas...

I can't rightly remember the last time I was here, although I believe it might have been somewhere around late-2013... and if I'm being honest I'd all but forgotten about this site until now. I suppose that doesn't matter now though does it. So, for whatever little it might be worth...

It's been a while...

Keeping it simple this time, no overly long paragraphs only to ask a single question. What are your thoughts on the re-imagining of the Devil Trigger in DmC: Devil May Cry?

I would watch something like this, and I get the feeling I'm not the only one really.

Sometimes a QTE can be interesting or implemented well, say like a Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm title, the QTE's in boss battles for those are actually quite nice... but then you have QTE's in the Resident Evil games, 5 and 6 particularly, which I call torture at about 3 o'clock in the...

I am sure most of you have heard that Capcom is in dire straights right now with a reported 152 million left on them. Sure to the individual this doesn't sound like you'd never consider you're going bankrupt, however to developers and publishers in the video game industry this is getting close...

One of the highlights of this game for me would be without doubt the very effective soundtrack, from Combichrist and NOISIA, whose work in this game and otherwise is just brilliant, in my opinion. At one moment you could have this fast paced, excellent song which suits the situation you're in...

The idea of what it wanted to do was definitely good, because it could have filled in so much more of the backstory; but instead we get a two part, muddled mess that was badly finished *sigh* Oh well, at least I can still enjoy the game and can avoid the comic if I want to, or I can just read...

Not to mention... umm... how did Dante activate his DT in the comic... you know, a power which he only learns during the game?

Oh please, do not talk about the comic... it's well done, but it just feels so out of place with the actual game, and Vergil's Downfall. If there is one aspect of DmC that I would happily say I despise, it's the comic; points for adding more to the story, about Kat and Vergil.... lost all those...
