My vote goes to Despair Embodied just became he came out as a surprise! There were no indication/reference on who or what the final boss was going to be. Of course I thought it would be Arius, but the game continued after Dante gave him his deserving "crown," yet became final boss for Lucia...
My sister bought my first DMC game (DMC3) for the PS2 back then on 2006. The game was too hard and I couldn't even beat the boss at mission 2, and stopped playing for a while. Later, my brother bought DMC4 for the ps3 and it was apparently too hard for him. DMC franchise became relevant to me...
Playing Killer is Dead, the plot of the game seems to remind me of the Devil May Cry Animated Series. Clients comes to the office every mission where they want a target dead and willing to spend large amounts of money. You uncover the true nature of the mission in the end and don't get paid. Haha
They should follow what they did for AAPhoenix Wright 5:
-a more serious main character
-more back story for the 4th game's protagonist
-new playable female character
-introduce a new game mechanic
-then let the main character bring down the final boss
As for the plot... Continuation of...
