Chess is rather simple, actually. All you have to do is learn the pieces and the moves. Expetrts of Chess are only so because they understand how to get out of difficult moves, that other players may fall trap to.
Checkers is awesome also, great game. You get to jump over your opponents pieces. Maybe I will write another story, with checkers, for your liking

That's quite common. Don't worry about it too much. Let them know it bothers you. But also, don't tell them not to do it. I suppose it is more their wish. Rather, tell them not to do it so often. If they are going to smoke it, say not so regularly.
