True, Dante wasn't portrayed very well in 4. It really was all about Nero and Dante was just thrown in there, probably for fan service. I think Nero came in in the wrong way. Instead of making it about him in 4, maybe they should have did the opposite. Like, have it focus on Dante (with better writing) and have Nero as a secondary character.
one, i like for all the same reasons you do with the added bonus of he is easier to like and root for than dante in four because he was fighting for someone else where dante wasnt in the early parts of the game. But that could have been because of the poor writing of four.
