  • Yeah, it was by personal request, something to do with issues he had and needing a break from the forums, he was worried that if he logged in he'd end up doing something he'd regret, so he requested that I ban him on a temporary basis, he'll be back within 10 days.

He's done nothing wrong, but we only really do this sort of thing if special circumstances apply, and he needs a break because whatever's going on in his life is making him more stressed out than usual, it's not something we generally do often.
You have to use your best judgement, April wouldn't be too old for bumping - however it depends if the thread is resolved. You should only bump a fresh thread if you have something new to contribute - if its just to add "I agree" etc then its best left alone ^^

Otherwise, anything older than two-months is a definate no-go;p April would be border line.
i know what bumping is. but if i didnt. i would say thank you for explaining. the rule of bumping is ridiculous though. creating a new thread for the same crap thats already been talked about in countless other threads just takes up memory. and making it a strict rule to not bump even a 1 month old thread is idiotic at best. if someone is willing to read through and post in this thread that shouldnt be bumped, then obviously its getting someones attention and should stay realized as a topic again. but this is not my forum and i dont make the rules.so might as well follow the genious who made the rule.
