It's like Destiel in Supernatural: apparently if you don't ship it, you're homophobic. But yeah, Steve ain't gay. People just want him to be for that ONE ship.

It's not homophobic to want an accurate portrayal of your favorite comic book character. Iceman got the gay treatment in comics, Mystique did so too, and I'd be perfectly cool if they played with that in live-action. But Cap is not gay.
