In Hati an earthquake struck with the power 7.0 on the scale and by 12 days after the first quake , after shocks of 4.5 were still be felt. The Red cross estimate that 3Million people were affected by the earthquake and left 250,000 dead .. The recovery is still on going a year later ..
On January 1st 2010 in pakistan , 85 people died during a vollyball match because of an explosion..

The Winter olympics are held in Canada but a change in the weather meant that the government had to import SNOW from America !
Another earthquake in Chile that left 438 people dead measured 8.8 on the scale , the largest strike the country

A south korean ship sinks off the the shore of the country killing all on board !
